01，give examples

這可能是擴(kuò)充句子的最簡單方法,。

尤其是當(dāng)考官詢問一些生活化的問題時(shí),，舉例說明會(huì)讓答案聽起來更自然更詳細(xì)。

Q:Do you get along with your brother?

X Short answer: No, we are not in to the same things.

√ Long answer：No, we're not in to the same things,like when we are both watching TV we always fight about what show to watch.

02,，frequency

如果你踢足球,，那么多久踢一次足球呢？

說明做某事的頻率,，對話的內(nèi)容自然而然得以豐富,。

通常用到的詞有 “usually”,“never”, “always”，“more often than not”

Q: What do you do at the weekends?

X Short answer: I watch TV and play computer games.

√ Long answer: I usually watch TV and play computer games, but sometimes I go out for a drink with my friends.

03,，add your feelings and opinions

在回答考官的提問時(shí)可以適當(dāng)添加你的感受和意見,，不僅能擴(kuò)展句子的長度還會(huì)讓你的答案更有趣。

X Short answer: I like shopping.

√ Long answer: I like shopping because I love trying on new clothes and I always feel more confident when I'm wearing a new outfit.

04,，combine details

用“and”,，“with”或“also”來翔實(shí)細(xì)節(jié)會(huì)讓你的回答更豐富飽滿。

Q:Do you live in a flat or a house?

X Short answer: I live in a house.

√ Long answer: I live in a house with my two brothers and my mum, we've also got a dog and a cat.

05,，add a contrasting detail

除了用“and”,，“with”或“also”擴(kuò)充相似的細(xì)節(jié)，也可以談?wù)勔恍Ρ弱r明的細(xì)節(jié)用“but”連接即可,。

Q: How long have you worked here?

X Short answer: I've worked there for three years.

√ Long answer: I’ve worked there for three years but I'm going to change careers next year.

06,，add past comparisons

假如你的愛好/行為習(xí)慣等等發(fā)生了變化，不妨談?wù)勀氵^去做過的事以及現(xiàn)在是如何改變的,，把過去和現(xiàn)在的對比添進(jìn)回答中也是行之有效的擴(kuò)充句子的方法,。

Q: Do you play sport?

X Short answer: I play football.

√ Long answer: I used to love basketball but now I play football because that's what my friends are in to.

07，talk about the future

同樣,，如果將來某些事情發(fā)生變化可以使用“will”或“be + going to”進(jìn)一步闡述,。

Q: Do you work or study?

X Short answer: I am at university at the moment.

√ Longer answer: I am at the University at the moment, but I'm graduating next year and I will hopefully get a job in advertising.

08，add contrast of the opposite opinions

當(dāng)被問到意見類問題時(shí)用“even so” 或者 “although”等字眼來表明你已經(jīng)考慮過雙方不同的意見,，這樣回答更全面,，更嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)。

Q：Is your hometown a nice place for tourists to visit?

X Short answer: Yes, it has a really nice beach .

√ Long answer: Yes, it has a really nice beach, although it is getting really busy these days and not as pristine as it used to be.

09，add reasons

簡短一句話表述你的行為,，不能真正展示你的英語專業(yè)知識(shí),，最好用“because”或者“so” 來說明你的動(dòng)機(jī)。

Q：Do you like your job ?

X Short answer: Yes, I love my job.

√ Long answer: Yes,I really love my job because I get to help people with their problems every day.
